Chez Merie - for a special evening out.

Chez Merie is a lovely family run restaurant situated just a short walk from Chalet One, in our sister village of La Mirroir. The old farmhouse is eclectically furnished & cooking is done over an open fire in front of you.

It really is a special treat for the night.

Our rather good ski club

For those who don’t know, the Sainte Foy Ski Club is one of the oldest clubs in the area. For over 100 years, generations of children from the village have passed through US Tarine as it was called at the time.

We are very proud to represent Sainte Foy on podiums and to provide in our community of 800 inhabitants a centre of sporting excellence for our little ‘Santaférains’!

Things we like...

 Liv Sansoz - climber

Liv is some one I met hitch hiking outside the chalet before I bought it.

I gave her a lift & we have remained friends since.

My first & so far only climb was with Liv on the Eiger via ferrata, we have a via ferrata up the valley behind the chalet.

Liv is a pro climber, skier & base jumper living in Chamonix.
